Looks like I may be changing my name legally
I mentioned in my microautobiography how I hate my first name and have contemplated legally changing it for a long time. Well, after a long discussion with my wife (who changed her last name ten years ago) and some serious deep-thinking, I feel I should start taking the first steps to do this. To start, I'd like to try out the name I've chosen, see how it fits.

And I'd like you to help.

The name is Kane. The rest of my name, the Curtis Gruber part, shall remain the same. I hope you'll help me out with this, and understand there are many reasons why I want to do this, and none of it is a whim. If you have any questions about it, as always, I'm happy to explain. But thanks for reading.

Regardless of the name change, Grubi is forever. :-)

I think it's a fine name, in all seriousness. Congrats on self-discovery.

But I get a kick out of the image and love to use it when possible. :) And it is Charles Foster Kane, after all.

Tell me why you've chosen Kane and I hope it's not because of your fondness for the periodical of the same name.

Kane is a British spanking magazine, originally published in the UK by the late Harrison Marks. First published in 1982, it claims to be the longest-published British spanking magazine. ...

HEavens no!

It means "little battle." It's Irish Gaelic. It's a strong, solid sounding name. It's hard to mispronounce it. It's not common, but it's not made up out of whole cloth. And it has some neat connotations.

Yes, but you'd better mean it.
